The 2021 ANSMA(African Nova Scorian Music Awards winner and 2022 ECMA and ANSMA multi-nominated Mark Riley has been a professional musician for several years and is also a multi-instrumentalist and Vocalist. Mark is a former Tenor and Soloist of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir, Cherrybrook Mass Choir and the Nova Gospel Ensemble. Mark is originally from Lake Loon Nova Scotia, a small community located just outside of Dartmouth. Mark started singing gospel music at an early age with the Baptist Church Choir. Mark moved to Toronto to pursue his music endeavors of recording and performing. This included credits for a film soundtrack.

Mark released his ANSMA award winning first solo Album in 2020 called One Step with co-Producer Fisher Akao and has now completed his second Album called PM Blue in March 2022 with Guitarist and co-Producer Paul Benteau. Mark also has an Album called Classic Duets released in April 2021. Mark has performed on 2 Compilation CD`s as well as an Album with the band Shoulder to Shoulder.

Mark recently performed at the 2022 TD Halifax Jazz Festival, ANSMA’s Freedom Festival and HFX Multifest 2022 among many other festivals and events around the Atlantic provinces.

Mark now resides just outside of Wolfville Nova Scotia. Mark performs with the Funk Band Mark Riley Project, The Mark Riley Quartet, The Praise Messengers and the Shoulder to Shoulder band.
